Welcome to BUMC!
Bellevue United Methodist Church is a religious community in the Bellevue area of Nashville, TN, dedicated to worhiping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and serving its local neighbors. The church is widely recognized for its inclusivity and active community outreach, most notably through its hosting of the Bellevue Community Food Bank.
Worship and Growth
BUMC offers opportunities for weekly worship and spiritual growth.
  • Sunday Worhip: Services are held in person at 10:30 AM. For those unable to attend in person, services are streamed live on Facebook at the same time and available on YouTube later that day. Nursery is provided.
  • Sunday School: Classes for children and adults typically begin at 9:15 AM. Nursery is provided on request.
Community Outreach
The church serves as a vital center for community support through several key ministries:
  • Bellevue Community Food Bank: Established in 1991, this food bank operates out of the church building, providing meals to neighbors in zip codes 37221, 37205, 37209, and 37143. Distributions occur Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
  • Room In The Inn: This is a city-wide program to provide emergency assistance and transitional support for those struggling with homelessness. BUMC members collect items of clothing for guests to be distributed throughout the system. BUMC volunteers partner with another church that hosts winter housing by filling in as needed with meals, transportation, overnight stays, etc.
